Mckenzie's Mill. #68 complete.

Last weekend, Big Sis was in town. Friday night, we went to a burlesque show- major bust! The transvestite who spent most of his/her time strutting around in heels managed to twist it's ankle and required a trip to the hospital. Saturday night our entertainment choice was much more successful. One of her friends is in the band McKenzie's Mill, and they were playing at The Stumblin' Pig in Mebane. The boys put on a fabulous show- they were actually better live than on their CD... I wonder if they do weddings...

Bow-tieful!

In preparation for the wedding marathon weekend, I made JH a bowtie! I found a pattern and directions on Greg's Blog, but I used cotton instead of silk. I couldn't find any patterns I liked with silk and have since looked online for better silk, but alas, a fruitless search. The only other person wearing a bowtie at the wedding was an adorable two year old whose mother wants me to make some for him! Idea for an etsy shop...? Total possibility.
